Competing against some of the finest talents in the nation, they emerged as champions, securing the First Prize in both the Semi-Classical and Kathak dance categories. This victory is not merely a testament to their technical mastery but also to the deep cultural and spiritual essence they infused into their performances. Their flawless footwork, emotive expressions, and unwavering dedication captivated the audience and earned them the highest honor from an esteemed panel of judges. This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence in Indian classical dance, preserving its timeless heritage while inspiring future generations. Participation in International Asian Dance Summit 2024

I am honored to have been a part of the International Asian Dance Summit 2024, held from December 28th to 31st in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, Nepal. This prestigious event brought together extraordinary dancers, scholars, and enthusiasts from across Asia, celebrating the rich and diverse traditions of classical and contemporary dance. As a judge for Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and Bollywood dance, I had the privilege of evaluating some of the finest talents in the field. It was an enriching experience to witness and assess performances that showcased the depth, precision, and grace of these celebrated dance forms. I was also fortunate to work alongside esteemed Indian classical dance personalities, including Rajendra Gangani Ji and Kathak Guru Sri Subhash Chandra Ji from Kathak Kendra, Delhi. Adding to this momentous occasion, I am deeply humbled to have been honored with the Nrutya Gurumani Award by ANASS India. This prestigious accolade recognizes my contributions and dedication to the art of dance, further inspiring me to continue my journey in preserving and promoting classical traditions. In 2022, I had the incredible honor of being a Guest of Honor at the grand cultural festival, Sanskriti Sangam 2022, hosted by NEV Events and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. This prestigious event was the 6th International and 10th National Art, Instrumental, Yoga, and Music Dance Competition Festival, held from July 16th to July 31st at the iconic ShilpaGram Auditorium in Guwahati, Assam. The event was a spectacular celebration of India’s rich cultural diversity, bringing together talented artists, performers, and cultural enthusiasts from across the nation and around the globe. Sanskriti Sangam 2022 was not just a competition but a magnificent confluence of creativity, artistry, and heritage that showcased the vibrant traditions of India. One of the most memorable aspects of this event was the privilege of working alongside the legendary Assamese superstar Sankar Kalita, a name synonymous with excellence in the Assamese entertainment industry. Renowned for his contributions to Assamese cinema and his deep passion for preserving Assamese culture, Sankar Kalita’s presence elevated the festival to new heights. It was inspiring to witness his dedication to promoting the arts and engaging with talented individuals from various disciplines. Additionally, the event brought together several distinguished personalities from the fields of Indian art, music, and dance, making it a melting pot of cultural brilliance. Being part of this festival allowed me to witness breathtaking performances across multiple art forms, from soulful instrumental music and dynamic dance performances to awe-inspiring yoga showcases. One of the most unforgettable milestones of my life took place in the year 1989, when I had the extraordinary opportunity to perform an Indian cultural dance in front of none other than Mikhail Gorbachev, the then President of the USSR, at the Indo-Russian Embassy. What made this moment even more special was that I was just 14 years old, a young girl from the small city of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, stepping onto an international stage. Coming from a humble background, this achievement was a testament to the power of dreams, hard work, and the unyielding support of my mentors and family. Performing at such a prestigious event and being acknowledged for showcasing the essence of Indian culture to a global leader was a profoundly humbling experience. It wasn't just a dance performance—it was a celebration of India's rich heritage, bridging cultures, and creating a moment of harmony between two great nations. This experience instilled in me a deep sense of pride in my cultural roots and a commitment to using art as a means of connection and unity. Even decades later, I cherish this achievement as a defining moment that shaped my journey as an artist and as an individual. This award recognizes my exceptional contributions to the preservation and promotion of Indian classical dance traditions. As part of the festival, I also had the privilege of serving as a judge for two revered classical dance forms, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Empanneled Jury for the 16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program by Home Ministry of India

I am deeply honored to have been a part of the Esteemed panel of jury members for the 16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program (TYEP) conducted by the Ministry of Culture & Sports, Government of India. The Event took place at Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Rajghat, on February 24, 2025, and brought together 200 youth from various tribal regions across India, accompanied by officers from the CRPF. The program, spanning from February 19 to 25, 2025, was designed to foster cultural exchange, awareness, and exposure to educational and industrial advancements. One of the highlights was the Cultural Competition, where talented young participants showcased their rich traditions, artistic expressions, and vibrant heritage. Serving as a jury member for this prestigious event was a privilege, allowing me to witness the passion, creativity, and resilience of India's tribal youth.
